Get Some More New Music for the Week

Yesterday was a big day for music I guess. A lot of guys released some new songs, and these were the best ones I heard. I hope these are good recommendations for you as the school year winds down and we get ready for the summer!

Kevin McCall - Naked (feat. Big Sean)

First off, who doesn't love a little Big Sean?? This is a pretty cool song, and Kevin McCall is starting to make a name for himself. I could see this song blow up soon.

Travis Scott - Animal (feat. T.I.)

I really like the beat to this song. And of couse, T.I. is on it, so it has to be good. I love the first verse by Travis Scott too. Hopefully we get to hear more from this combo.

Maroon 5 - Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa)

Wow, Maroon 5 did it again. They are making hit after hit lately. This one comes from a radio rip and features one of the more fun rappers today, Wiz. Wiz puts a pretty cool spin on this song that blends the alternative rock with some hip-hop. Hope you enjoy.

YONAS - One More Time

YONAS is my dude. I have heard all  of his stuff. He doesn't come up with the catchiest or most popular songs, but everything he puts out is just really solid rap. He always has great verses. I bet you can guess the beat on this one before it even plays too. Gotta love what he's doing.

Ahh New Music!

I did a little play on words there relating my "Ahh New Music" to the old cartoon "Ahh Real Monsters", isn't that fricken cool? Nope, didn't think so... Well, hopefully these songs are cool.

I came across this song this week and I just liked it, so I put it on here. That's all I can really say...



Lil' O - In Da Wind (feat. Chamillionaire, Killa Kyleon)
I love some classic Chamillionaire, and this one is the best song I have ever heard in my entire life. No just kidding, I just said that so Isak would laugh a little.... He didn't laugh. Enjoy the song though.



Scotty James - Wanna Be Loved (feat. Yonas)
Scotty James is a boss. Yonas is pretty good. So this song is pretty bossy good...

WZRD

KiD CuDi and Dot Da Genius released WZRD today which is definitely going to be one of my favorite albums this year. Got that ish on repeat all day! However, I've been looking at the Twitter feed today to see how people are diggin' this album and I've been seeing a lot of hate. I don't know if it's just because this is a different style, or maybe people are just getting too into frat rap and all that fake Lil' Wayne garbage, but people are hating! I don't know how, because this album is totally the shiznit! That's my review of the album right there. And for those who don't like WZRD....

KiD CuDi Releases Two New Songs Today

I've been a huge KiD CuDi fan since I first heard him like 6 years ago, and he has become pretty big in mainstream music. Well now he has kinda switched to more rock-based music, and I'm really diggin' the style. Two new songs he released today to iTunes are "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" and "Brake", which are pretty bumpin'. I suggest getting on iTunes right now and buying these hits. I would, but my computer is busted, and I gotta get a new one soon! CuDi's album comes out February 28th and is entitled WZRD. Good work CuDi, can't wait for the album!
